Listen, guys, it’s really hot in Tokyo right now. I’m heading back there on Monday and I’m honestly a little scared of the weather. It’s been practically fall-like here in Ohio, and I’ve been enjoying it so much! We eat dinners outside, take evening walks, we went to the zoo and a few baseball games. But I know that bliss is about to come to a screeching halt. Not only will it be in the 90’s and very humid, but most Japanese buildings are kept at a much warmer temperature than American buildings. So there’s really no relief from the heat until you make it back to your own apartment and crank up the AC.
I’m going to try this refreshing face mist to cool off when I get back. I made a travel-size bottle so I could tuck it into my purse. I love the scent, too! I received a sample of wild orange essential oil at BlogHer14, which is energizing in addition to smelling fantastic (and I can certainly always use a boost). So if you’re keeping track, this face mist is cooling, great-smelling, and energy-boosting.
There are lots of other scents that you can add to a face mist to get the same benefits if you don’t love the idea of using orange. Try mint, lemon, lime, rosemary, or any combination of those scents.
p.s. More of my calligraphy on the label! I don’t love the ink that I used, it was a bit watery and pooled in parts. But I’m still practicing 🙂
