Gather round, folks. We’re talking about an easy, #AllDayLook (courtesy of #CollectiveBias) with Neutrogena today! While I love experimenting with all sorts of makeup colors and types, I DEFINITELY have an every-day kind of look. And it’s such a simple one! Here’s a few beauty tips create this look:
out of these few items!
Every Sunday, the street near my Target shuts down for the best Farmer’s Market around (you may have seen my Instagram photo of it a week or two ago!) I don’t know about you, but a weekend morning that includes a run to Target and a huge bag of vegetables is pretty much heaven- and I’ve got that schedule every week. Last Sunday, I hit up the Beauty section to find the Neutrogena products I needed to show you my look.
A simple look has a simple start. I recently highlighted my hair, decided I hated it, then colored it back to a darker hue. Of course, this doesn’t make your hair feel too great and I’ve been struggling with finding the right shampoo/conditioner combo for my new, foreign color-treated hair. I can’t say enough great things about this new Triple Repair Shampoo and Conditioner: smells great and feels even better.
When you hop out of the shower, gather your face products.
I like to start with a simple Oil Free Moisturizer with SPF 15. I don’t use sunscreen as much as I should so I really like doubling up on product benefits when I can.
While you wait for the lotion to absorb (don’t worry, this one doesn’t take long at all and isn’t a bit sticky), style your hair as usual. Sometimes I go for wet styles like braids to make my mornings easier, but today I went with a quick blow dry.
Now that your hair is done, let’s start with the simple makeup application! Use the Nourishing Eyeliner to line all the way around your eye (top and bottom, on your lash line). I don’t smudge since I usually end up with raccoon eyes when I try, but the liner comes with a built in shadow tip if you like a smudged line!
Home stretch: glide on some MoistureSmooth Color Stick (my color is Bright Berry).
I added a quick dust of blush as well since that’s what my momma taught me.
That’s it! Seriously! Both the liner and Color Stick have true staying power and I love how gentle the makeup and lotion feels on my face.

Even more good news? Target is bringing back their Beauty Concierges to help you with all your beauty questions! (Event begins August 24th, limited quantities available. Check with your local Target store for Beauty Concierge day and times.) I had the good luck of happening upon a concierge at a prior event and got some great advice and product guidance- I don’t know about you, but I love trading ideas and tips with another makeup aficionado.
I’m dying to see your simple all day looks from this tutorial! Let me know what you think!
