Happy Friday! Here are a few of our favorites from this week. Have a terrific weekend!
DIY Balloon Garland: Heidi from Hands Occupied created this fantastic balloon garland DIY to celebrate her blog’s 3rd birthday. These would be such wonderful party decorations for any age or occasion. You could use lots of colorful ones for a child’s birthday party, black and silver ones for New Years, your team’s colors for a tailgate…!
Pumpkin Spice Syrup: A Beautiful Mess posted this easy recipe to make your own pumpkin spice syrup. In fact, you probably have all of the ingredients in your cupboards! While putting this in your coffee is a given (save some money on those Pumpkin Spice Lattes!), we’d also like to come up with a cocktail that uses the syrup.
Vintage Blossoms Card Set: One of our weaknesses here at A&C is stationary. When Carla visited Japan, we spent hours looking all beautiful paper goods all over Tokyo. So you won’t be surprised to hear that these gorgeous floral cards from Leif made our hearts skip a beat.
World Market Dia De Los Muertos Shop: Starting to think about decorations for your Halloween bash? World Market has a great selection of Dia de los Muertos offerings this year, with goods from napkins to themed papel picado and bride and groom taper candles. (If you’re not sure of the history, make sure you check out the short description of the unique holiday right on the page!)
Bella Electric Kettle: It’s no secret we love tea here at Alyssa & Carla, so it’s not surprising that we really love our tea accessories too. We happened upon this fabulous and unique tea kettle recently and although it’s not a necessity, we really want to get our hands on this sweetly flower patterned gem.
Grammar Grumble Mugs: Speaking of tea, have you seen these grammatically correct mugs? They poke a little fun while also managing to be educational!

Everything from Leif is so beautiful, and those cards are no exception! I also would love to try the pumpkin spice syrup, yummy! Hope you’re having a great weekend!

Aren’t they fantastic? The there/they’re/their one is a personal favorite.
