Happy Friday! Here are some of our favorites from the past week.
Provisions: One of our favorite food websites, Food52 has launched an online shop called Provisions. It’s beautifully curated with vintage and new products. The collection is geared toward someone with a handmade aesthetic and cooking style. The products are rustic, with wooden accents and metallic finishes. And they recommend recipes that coordinate with the products that interest you. We’d love to make a big batch of Sicilian blood orange marmalade in this gorgeous (albeit expensive) vintage British preserve pan, can it in these fun heritage-edition Ball jars, then label them with these amazing mason jar labels.
Pierre Pan Top: It’s way too hot right now to even consider wearing long sleeves. But we’re ready to think ahead to the fall when it comes to this Anthropologie top. It’s the perfect blend of casual and formal, girlie and sporty.
Pickled Zucchini Ribbons: These would be lovely on an antipasto platter or delicious on a sandwich. They’re an easy way to use up some of that zucchini surplus, and we can’t get over this cheery bright yellow color.
The Wedding of Zach and Kiele by Jonas Peterson: Love Friday Night Lights and/or Lost? Then you might want to see Matt Saracen marry Nikki Fernandez in this glorious Napa wedding photographed by one of our favorite photographers, Jonas Peterson. (Don’t miss Landry playing guitar!)
Window Pom Pom Installation: We love regular items re-imagined in spectacular ways, so we couldn’t take our eyes off this darling installation of yarn pom pom balls. Made for a storefront in Australia, we think it’d be a great DIY for a photo backdrop or party decoration!
Wild Planet Wild Albacore Tuna: Ever opened a can of tuna and thought “It can’t get much better than this!” We thought so too, until we had this amazing version (found at our local Costco). Get ready for a completely new taste experience with six times the Omega 3’s of regular tuna cans and less than half the mercury. The flesh is pink, dense and tasty in the most glorious way- try it and you won’t go back.
