Here’s another new feature we’re trying out: Friday Favorites! Every week we’ll compile all sorts of interesting, random things to share with you that we love or that get us excited. Here goes…
Moroccan lamps. The combination of colored glass, intricate patterns, and beautiful shapes make us swoon. Alyssa couldn’t resist buying this one with purple patterned glass to hang above her dining room table:
Comedian Tig Notaro. Probably one of the funniest people on the planet. She has maintained an amazing sense of humor despite a crazy personal story that involves a death in the family, a breakup and a cancer diagnosis within about 4 months. And that’s just the beginning.
Peonies. We love how full and ruffly they look! And they smell amazing. It only takes a few (or one!) to make a big impact.
Dang Foods Toasted Coconut Chips. If you’re looking for a tasty little snack that’s flavorful, slightly sweet and a little bit salty: these are for you. They’re perfect to munch on as a snack, to put over some ice cream, and even to incorporate into breading on a seafood dinner! (Also, Trader Joe’s has a version which tastes the same and is about half price!)
Pacifica Tahitian Gardenia Perfume Roll-On. Carla was lucky enough to score one of these in her most recent ipsy bag and it’s just delightful. A little of this quality fragrance goes a long way and the application method isn’t just easy to apply- it’s also a perfect carrying size for touch-ups.
Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover. The best carpet cleaner on the market. Don’t ask us how we know.
